| Cabinet Maker / Plastic Sawyer The Company:
Located in the outer Eastern Suburbs, this small to medium size business has been operating since 1988. They supply Engineering & Industrial Plastic products such as Sheets, Rods, Tubes, and Cut to Size plastic panels for the engineering, industrial and roofing industries. A background working in a similar plastics cutting role or one such as cabinet making would be suitable, as the equipment used is the same/similar. The job:
• Locate and select the correct plastic stocks required for customers ‘Cut To Size' orders
• Set-up and adjust the Altendorf Electric Panel Saw to ensure cut sizes are correct EVERY TIME!
• Change over Blades when required and arrange sharpening of worn blades as required
• Assist with other aspects of factory work from time to time e.g. Pick & Pack stock etc
• Keep detailed Stock Adjustment lists and advise of any stock shortages / outages
• General warehousing duties Skill Set Essentials:
• Previous experience with both Setting-up and Cutting on a Panel Saw
• Attention to detail - cutting to exact measurements
• Ability to read and understand basic drawings, use a Vernier and read a Tape Measure
• Excellent English skills, both literacy and spoken - must be able to follow instructions
• You must be a highly motivated person who takes pride in your work, showing attention to detail and producing precision work Preferable:
• Preferable to have experience using a Thicknesser, Buzzer, Spindle Moulder etc
• Forklift Licence
• Experience cutting Plastics would be a distinct advantage, however, experience such as Cabinet Making is similar The Person:
• Highly reliable and diligent with a good work ethic

• Goal orientated
• Excellent communication / English skills
• Self motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to follow production guidelines and safe practices of work Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm. Salary: $35,000 to $40,000 + Super depending on skills and experience. Off-street parking is provided.
