| Accounts Officer The Company: Located in Moorabbin, this long established company has been importing international gourmet foods for over 40 years. The job: Subsequent to the retirement of a senior Accounts Manager, this vacancy now exists for a competent person to take over multiple office / clerical and accounts duties including: • Banking - Debtors control (in-house software) • General Ledger entries (MYOB) • Accounts Reconciliations • Credit Application processing • Payment of Creditors • BAS collation of data • Data Archiving • Other adhoc clerical and accounts tasks • Basic understanding of HR & Payroll processing would be useful but not essential Hours: 9am to 5pm. Salary: $50,000 + Super + other benefits The person: • Must have strong computer literacy • A proven track record working in a similar role • Fluent written and spoken English • Good head for figures • Down to earth and friendly • Have the competency to take ownership and responsibility for your role • Able to work independently and also in a team environment • Punctual, reliable, good work ethic • Self motivated with a can-do attitude Computer skills: Must be competent in MYOB, Word, Excel and Outlook.
