A great small-medium team environment is offered by this long established family owned specialist engineering jobbing work shop. Mostly large one-off engineering jobs for many industries including the mining industry. Location: Dingley. Hours: Mon to Thurs 7am to 3.30pm, Friday finish about 2.30pm. Depending on work load, mid week and Saturday overtime is available at times, paid at time/half. Salary range depending on skills and experience: $25 to $30 per hour + Super Skill set essentials:
• You must be a Qualified and highly experienced Trades person
• Jobbing industry background is essential
• Experienced with Fanuc Series 15 - T Control and Turning up to 800mm diameter x 4000mm long is essential
• Ability to read and understand drawings
• Ability to take instruction
• Strong attention to detail
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment
• Must be able to follow production guidelines and safe practices of work The person:
• Highly reliable and diligent with a good work ethic
• Team player
• Goal orientated
• Excellent written and verbal English skills
• Self motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Practical thinking, use commonsense
• A proven track record working in a similar role
