| Bookkeeper / PA / Administration The Company: Small friendly Accounting firm who specialises in insolvencies, client companies & trusts, and company liquidations. Location: Eastern Suburbs. This job offers a great work/life balance. Hours: 9.30am to 4.30pm, 4 days per week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (Days could be negotiable). A mature minded person with exceptional verbal and written English skills, with a strong background in Bookkeeping would suit this great job opportunity. This is a very hands-on role undertaking a variety of tasks including end to end Bookkeeping, PA duties, general Secretarial and Administration tasks. You must have the competency to take ownership and responsibility for your role, completing tasks without being micro-managed. The Job: • Bookkeeping for various entities (using QuickBooks and MYOB). • Time recording using QuickBooks. • Pay bills. • Process any money received and paid (cheques or direct deposits). • Bank reconciliations. • General office administration. • Answering telephone queries. • Correspondence. • Word processing. • Mail outs - sometimes in bulk. • Personal Assistant work. • BAS returns. • Invoicing. • On line document lodging. The day begins with opening of mail, then a routine is followed. The person: • Effective communication is vital to this role; fluent written and verbal English is essential • High level data entry accuracy and attention to detail is essential • Practical thinking, down to earth and professional in your approach • Able to work independently • Punctual, reliable, good work ethic • Self motivated with a can-do attitude • Ability to manage your work load, work efficiently and meet deadlines Computer skills: MYOB, QuickBooks, Word, Excel, Outlook. Pay rate: $28 to $32 per hour + Super depending on skills and experience (plus holiday and sick leave entitlements).
