Part Time Bookkeeper / Administration

• 3-4 days per week, 9.30am to 3pm

Hourly rate:
• Permanent part time = $30 to 35 per hour + Super depending on skills and experience
• Contractor rate = $35 to 40 per hour depending on skills and experience

The Company: Long established (1973) Property Development, primarily Residential, including Project Management, Investment Buyers, Advocacy Service, Land Procurements, Building Supervision and Design.

Location: Rosanna.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a capable, friendly and committed person with a professional attitude to join a small friendly office.

This is a New position to assist the current Office Manager and Director with all general day to day office duties, plus cover for the Office Manager in her absence.

Overview: End to end accounts, BAS, general Office Administration, Word processing and Reception.

Your Bookkeeping knowledge must be at a level where you can competently work autonomously without supervision and have the ability to take responsibility of your job. You must be computer savvy. This office uses multiple Company MYOB files (Account Edge for MAC) - Inter Company transactions are common.

The Job:
• Reception and general office administration tasks
• Accounts Payable / Cheque drawing
• General Bookkeeping / data entry including bank reconciliations / BAS statements / journal entries for multiple companies/entities
• Bookkeeping to Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss
• Liaise with Rental Properly Managers / Real Estate Agents / Property Lawyers / Accountants / Investors
• Collect mail
• Manage incoming/outgoing emails
• Word Processing
• Filing/Scanning
• Banking
• Maintain stationary and other office consumables
• Maintain clean and tidy office e.g. empty desk bins
• Light Kitchen duties

• Professional phone manner, fluent written and verbal English
• Practical thinking, use commonsense and show attention to detail
• Down to earth, friendly and professional in your approach
• Punctual, reliable, good work ethic
• Self motivated with a can-do attitude
• Ability to work with a small friendly supportive team

Computer skills: MAC operating system includes: Word, Excel and MYOB (Account Edge)
