| Storeperson The Company:
Long established and leading wholesaler of dental equipment and accessories. Location:
South Eastern Suburbs. • For a suitably experienced person this company is offering permanent full time long term employment. • The role will suit an energetic and reliable person of tidy appearance who is self motivated with the ability to learn multiple tasks, then be and able to work with minimal supervision. • A minimum of Intermediate level computer skills is necessary. The job:
"Flexibility' is the key - This is a diverse role with tasks ranging from light stores duties through to assisting with office duties/phones when required. No forklift work is required. Responsibilities:
• Picking, packing and despatching of goods
• Unloading and counting of goods
• Assist the Purchasing Officer as directed
• Labelling/sticker receipted goods
• Stack goods in their allocated bay or position
• Ensure goods are picked according to date of manufacture
• Ensure goods are despatched in a timely manner
• Print address labels for each order
• Select despatch method e.g. courier or mail
• Keep warehouse area clean and tidy
• Relieve front office staff and undertake training to do same. This would include answering the phone and learning the banking reconciliation using Accpac software. The person:
• Ability to work as a an effective team member to ensure all goals are met - undertake training to be multi skilled to fill in another's role when required
• Energetic - there is a lot of moving from area to area, also standing whilst packing
• Commonsense and intelligence
• Excellent communication / English skills
• Use of initiative with the ability to take responsibility of your job
• Enthusiastic and hard working
• A good work ethic and organisational skills
• Team player / goal orientated
• A proven track record of reliability and punctuality
