Due to Company growth, we are excited to announce this great ‘New’ opportunity for a highly experienced Part Time HR / OH&S Manager with appropriate/relevant Tertiary Qualifications plus several/many years of working experience to join our team.

As the HR / OH&S Manager, you need to have previous experience in implementing and setting up systems and procedures from scratch.

Hours: 20 hours per week (5 hours per day, 4 days per weeek)
Software: SAP Business 1, Word, Excel, Email.
Salary: $38 to $42 per hour + Super (depending on skills, experience, knowledge and qualifications).   HR functions will include:
  • Manage the end to end Recruitment process including interviews.
  • Review and plan Staff Training.
  • Maintain Regulatory Compliance.
  • Staff Counselling.
  • Administer the ‘performance management program’ every 6 months for staff performance reviews.
  • Respond to enquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Maintain policies and position descriptions and amend when necessary e.g. if job roles have changed.
  • Prepare and implement employee development plans.
  • Maintain ‘organisation chart’ and ‘employee directory’ ensuring all staff data is kept up to date and current e.g. change of address, change of job role etc.
  • Maintain Employment Contracts for on-boarding new staff and review existing Contracts as necessary.
  OH&S functions will include:
  • Develop and maintain OH&S policies and procedures (the background work has largely been completed but it needs to be reviewed and fully implemented).
  • Monitor and enforce OH&S compliance (ensure systems and procedures are in place for all departments and being followed by staff e.g. Fork Lift policies).
  • Record and manage any OH&S incidents.
  • Return to work co-ordination.
  • Identify and organise OH&S training requirements.
  • Maintain compliance to WorkCover.
  • New employee inductions.
