scott We are seeking a highly motivated experienced Project Manager to join our team based in either Sydney or Melbourne.

As our Project Manager you will be responsible for successfully and professionally managing all project requirements on time and to specification.

These projects are technically diverse and very large so this is an ideal job for someone that enjoys a challenge.

As a Project Manager within Scott you will:
  • Manage all facets of project management, including budgets and resources, engineering and delivery of multiple projects (Circa $100k-$5M) including mentoring and leadership of a team of Project Engineers.
  • Manage projects using Best Practice PM principles, as defined by the company.
  • Ensure design of all components of the project are completed including electrical and mechanical aspects.
  • Ensure simulations where required are completed using 3D design (Inventor/Solidworks) and that they meet target metrics.
  • Ensure all programming is completed.
  • Ensure build of project is completed as to plan and factory acceptance tests meet project metrics.
  • Research the use of new products including how they work and technical information re-implementation.
  • Install and commission projects, both local, interstate and international when required.
To be a great match to this role you will:
  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical / and or Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics or/ Electrician Trade Certificate plus Electrical Engineering Certificate.
  • A minimum of 5 years as a Project Manager or a Senior Engineer who has experience as a project manager.
  • PLC, HMI, Robotic, & SCADA programming (Desired).
  • Vision and PC programming skills (Desired)
  • Working knowledge of sensing technologies and their application to projects. These include advanced sensing technologies such as x-ray, CT and hyperspectral imaging.
  • Mechanical Aptitude for industrial systems and fluid controls.
  • A driverâs licence and the ability to travel interstate on occasion will be required.
