AUDIO VISUAL DYNAMICS (AVD) has a special opportunity available for a person with a background in the Audio Visual, Events and or Premium Five Star Hospitality Industry to join our experienced team as an Account Manager, reporting directly to the Venue Manager in one of our Premium high profile Five Star venues.

You may currently be working in a Major Hotel, Conference or Reception Centre in a Sales or Events Management role.  You may have responsibility for the presentation and delivery of corporate and private functions and have experience with the use and application of Audio Visual Equipment.

THE POSITION

As an Account Manager you would be responsible for:

  • Working within this Premium Five star hospitality city location, collaborating with their staff and their clients to ensure the highest level of customer service is provided.
  • Promote and explain to clients the range of Audio Visual and Staging services able to be provided by AVD at this premium five star city venue.
  • In conjunction with the venue and our own technical staff, draw up tenders and quotations for Audio Visual work.
  • Present to the venues client, the overall vision that they are looking for within their budget
  • Be responsible for the overall management and success of your clients events while working within a team environment.

 

 

KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this position you will already have:

  • At least 2/3 years experience working with Audio Visual Equipment or other relevant industries
  • Direct customer service contact in a major Hotel, Venue or Functions Centre
  • A high level of customer service and relationship management skills
  • A high level of verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
  • Personal presentation and grooming to fit within a Five Star venue.
  • A willingness to learn, grow and become a contributing member of a highly professional team.
