Assistant Manager | Duty Manager | South West Suburbs | $60k-$75k + Super

Gregory Hills Hotel, part of Royal Hotels Group is an award winning venue that showcases the best Food, Beverage and Community Engagement in the South West. 

Due to internal progression of current team role we are looking for someone to steer this bull by the horns. This multi-facet venue has the most loyal team of local and passionate staff which aim to continually deliver the best quality of food and service in the area. 

As an Assistant Manager you will be responsible for maintaining a seamless, structured organisation with a strong customer focus and diligent team management.

Gregory Hills Hotel have well established systems and processes, its continuously beating forecasts but requires an innovative brain to drive their continued success forward ideas and thoughts are always welcomed but this venue is not in any way under performing or showing any sign of slowing down. 
 
The ideal manager will have:

  • 3+  years previous management experience in high volume bar or pub background. 
  • Excellent communication and mentoring ability.
  • Have a strong desire to be challenged and succeed. 
  • Detailed understanding and experience with cash reconciliation 
  • Exceptional and engaging customer service of a high standard and the ability to train and develop potential.
  • Great product knowledge - wine and food. 
  • Compliance understanding and experience, with a complementing approach. 
  • Gaming and TAB understanding is a must!! 

The Role:

  • Recruit, train and develop a team of professional floor staff.
  • Mentor, motivate and manage your management team to achieve team targets. 
  • Manage the day-to-day operation and ensure service standards are exceptional. 
  • Cash reconciliation and reporting to detailed standard

Salary & Benefits:

  • Work life balance (5 shifts over 5 days) NO DOUBLES and roughly 45 hours per week.
