IT Customer Service Representative

Our client are a Global IT/Tech Organization and require a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to manage customers IT hardware requests and queries.

The CSR is required to process orders, assign requests, and escalate complaints to the IT Stream Manager. To do well in this role the CSR needs to be able to work autonomously, remain calm when customers are frustrated and have experience working with computers, in particular: Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Service Now. Having sound knowledge of computer hardware would also be an advantage.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Communicating with customers through various channels.
  • Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.
  • Knowing our IT products inside and out so that you can answer questions.
  • Processing orders and requests.
  • Keeping records of customer interactions, comments and complaints.
  • Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.
  • Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
