Essential Responsibilities:

If successful, you as a Regulatory Affairs Specialist, will be responsible for:

  • Providing support to those who represent the business on Industry associations.
  • Providing input on projects, management of food issues and in the development of company policies.
  • Reviewing all nutrition and health claims with key internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with appropriate legislation on nutrition and health claims in foods.
  • Evaluating new processes and ingredients for compliance to legislation and providing the Manager with appropriate direction and advice.
  • Actively involved in the review of procedures and policies and in assisting the Manager prepare draft policy documents.
  • Approving all mandatory elements of package label text, artwork, and nutritional data in collaboration with activation teams.
  • Engaging and providing sound Regulatory input to ANZ Manager for response to internal and external issues.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Food Technology, Engineering, Engineering or relevant fields with food law dedication.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years experience working on preliminary regulation checks or new product improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving, project management and risk management skills.
  • Good knowledge of the national Food law regulations as well as International Standards such as Codex.
  • Good communication and people management skills Ability to negotiate and influence others with respect to food regulation issues

Successful candidates must already satisfy local employment/work permit or residency regulations.
