The Role and Your Responsibilities

The Administration Coordinator is responsible for providing high quality administrative support to the UN Global Compact Cities Programme, its advisors and key stakeholders. It will also require interactions with external partners, government officials and staff in other organisations nationally and internationally. The nature of the position requires regular contact with the members of the UN Global Compact Cities Programme. The Administration Coordinator is expected to prepare reports, presentations, newsletters and to maintain appropriate data systems, as well as organising and coordinating events such as workshops, seminars and conferences.

Skills & Experience Required

Important to this role will be your extensive experience in providing high-level administrative support including office and travel/event management and ensuring customer service is delivered to the best possible standards. Your high-level computer skills, ability to prepare quality presentations and website management with the focus on attention to detail will enable you to succeed in this position. We are seeking candidates with a strong improvement focus, a can-do attitude and highly developed interpersonal and communication skills to be able to effectively liaise with stakeholders at a different seniority level while maintaining confidentiality on complex and sensitive issues.
