Are you looking for a short term contract in office management

Were looking for an Administrative Assistant to manage our office operations, accounts and travel for three months in 2019.  Being a small innovative organisation, we are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter who is willing to learn on the job and develop creative approaches in their work.

Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our CEO and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing our companys general administrative activities. You will also support our daily activities and assist in coordinating HR policies, processes, and relevant documents. No formal training required, however some experience in the area would be highly regarded.

Ensuring completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position.

You will be given the opportunity to work with a dynamic team with a great culture and the ability to make your mark on our company. The company will provide you with training on how to conduct the tasks below.

This is a position to cover maternity leave for an initial 3 month period, with potential for extension. It is hoped you will be able to start in the role at the end of January.

Job Duties

  • Administrative data entry and diary management
  • Preparation of Governance documentation for Board and Committee meetings
  • Travel bookings and management
  • Verifying and collating electronic documents
  • Assisting the company with all HR related queries
  • Ensure all records, information and databases are up to date
  • Develop positive and professional relationships with all team members and external stakeholders
  • Formatting documents and electronic filing
  • Ad hoc Administrative Duties
  • Assist with other ad-hoc general duties

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in an Admin or Junior HR role highly regarded
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling matters
  • High degree of accuracy when working at a fast productive rate
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • A sound knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team
  • A good level of emotional intelligence and resilience.
