An exciting new opportunity has recently been created for an Administration Assistant due to business expansion. 

This position is responsible for the day to day administration requirements across CatholicCare Muswellbrook and Singleton Services, with the occasional travel to other offices as needed. You will be responsible for Intake of new referrals and clients, reception duties, filing and data entry using spreadsheets and data bases to ensure all electronic data is collated and filed efficiently, use of email and the internet as communication & information gathering tools.  Accurate and efficient typing of letters, memos, reports and other documents for the professional delivery of the service. Basic accounts receivable, purchasing, ordering and petty cash reconciliation. Provision of high quality and sensitive customer service to clients, other stakeholders and colleagues. Meet funding reporting requirements though on line reporting to both state and commonwealth departments.  High level of confidentiality and awareness of inter-personal and professional boundaries of practice. There is an expectation that ideas for quality improvement will be shared with manager and team.

Selection Criteria:

Qualifications in Business Administration or equivalent relevant experience in admin tasks including: Intake of clients either face to face, by phone or through referral, Reception duties, typing, document formatting, filing.
Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritise and manage several tasks at one time in order to meet a deadline. 
Ability to work autonomously, whilst deescalating complex situations.
Commitment to high level customer service, with excellent interpersonal and communication   skills, and positive disposition.
Ability to contribute effectively in a team environment.
High level computer skills in use of Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
Demonstrated awareness of confidentiality & boundaries of practice, coupled with an awareness and sensitivity of the social issues effecting disadvantaged families.
Willingness to participate in further professional development.
Honest, trustworthy, with strong ethical values and a commitment to work within CCs Mission, Vision and Values.

Desirable Criteria:

Exposure to working within the Social Services industry with vulnerable people.
General Accounts Experience.
