An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated and energetic administrator to join the Life Saving Victoria  team. 

You will work with our media and government relations team to support the team to deliver a range of media, public relations, government and community relations, social media, communication, marketing and promotional campaigns.

Life Saving Victoria is Victorias peak Water safety and Lifesaving organisation with a mission to prevent aquatic related death and injury across all Victorian communities. We strive to provide all Victorians with skills in water safety, swimming and resuscitation, along with access to safe beaches, inland water environments and aquatic venues. 

We are seeking motivated person to support the administration function, ensuring the delivery of high quality and innovative administrative support. You will be the central point for communications and support for the business unit , providing timely and efficient administration.

Key Selection Criteria;

Ideal candidate: this position would ideally suit  a strong administrator with good customer services and time management skills.    You will have proven success providing administration support  in high pressure environment including some event coordination, communication experience  and the ability to deliver administrative services in an accurate and timely manner.

Specific requirements:  Previous experience as in a media and/or communications  area, with a sports club, emergency services or volunteer organisation would be advantageous.  You will have proven success meeting deadlines, operating under pressure and be comfortable multitasking, your time management skills will be highly developed.

Personal attributes: demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service and to overcome obstacles and 'make things happen'. You will possess strong interpersonal and communication skill with the ability to adapt to the needs of the team. You will be detailed orientated, with demonstrated success in working to deadlines.   You will be flexible with availability after hours and some weekends during peak season.
 

Communication skills:  Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise and communicate a variety of stakeholders. You will have exemplary interpersonal and influencing skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively consult and work with a range of stakeholders to achieve beneficial outcomes.
