We are currently seeking an established Director of Sales who will have leadership accountability for the Sales and Marketing efforts in Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore.  This key, executive-level position will be located in our Victoria, Australia location.  

  Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in business administration or marketing-related field plus 5 years experience in a B2B sales leadership position or non degree plus 10 or more years of experience in a B2B sales leadership position
  • Knowledge of orthodontic products and techniques
  • 5 or more years Global Sales experience
  • 5 or more years of People Management experience

Prior Experience

  • Proven ability to develop sales strategies, tactics and techniques based on the feedback of the customer and market environment.
  • Proven leadership demonstrated by the ability to successfully motivate, manage and drive a team based on sales/performance metrics.
  • Ability to develop sales strategies and performance metrics.
  • Versed in developing focus selling messages based on the needs of customer.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong training and presentation skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and sales skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and forecasts.
  • Ability to develop successful sales compensation plans

Responsibilities:

  • Devises and deploys all sales objectives and goals across the company, including sales targets and budgets preparation.
  • Develops and implements quarterly and annual sales programs, plans, and policies for every sales manager.
  • Integrates and aligns sales plans with available processes, IT systems, talent and other areas in order to increase the capability and success of sales force.
  • Manages the performance and activities of the entire sales units, including account managers, regional managers, and support staff.
  • Creates training and development programs for sales managers.
  • Gives final authorization on all sales appoint decisions.
  • Conducts analysis in order to manage performance levels of sales against market developments and corporate objectives.
  • Recommends reseller agreements, distribution strategies, and other sales opportunities.
  • Plans and executes business show appearances.
  • Creates product segmentation strategies wherever needed to maximize trade opportunities across different sales channels.
  • Maximizes work relationships with key, high-value customers and prospects.
  • Develops, manages, and nurtures new business partnerships and accounts to accomplish volume and profit goals.
  • Communicates brand identity internally to pertinent key business collaborates, business units, and the customer support.
  • Explores and grows the client account list, dealing incoming leads and ending sales.
  • Seeks out and directing new customers and sales opportunities, initiating action plan to advance and procure new business for the company.
  • Updates and organizes on changing online marketing trends so that the organization can prepare and regulate plans accordingly.
  • Ability to travel internationally
