Partnerships Manager - Mumbrella

Mumbrella's Australian portfolio also includes mumbrella.com.au, a website and enewsletter covering everything under Australia's media and marketing umbrella, and a series of events including Mumbrella360, the Mumbrella Awards, Publish, CommsCon and the Mumbrella Marketing Summit series.


We are looking for a hungry, results orientated sales professional to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast growing company in a dynamic and fast paced industry and work with market leading brands to drive commercial growth.

In this role you will be responsible for optimising revenues across our trade platforms, Mumbrella's Bespoke offering and our events portfolio. The role offers the opportunity to work creatively with some of the most innovative media brands in Australia to deliver best in class outcomes that drive ROI and revenue growth.


  • Achieve personal financial targets for Mumbrellas website, eNews, eDM, event and bespoke sales as set out by the Sales Director each quarter
  • Work collaboratively to achieve group financial targets for Mumbrellas website, eNews, eDM, event and bespoke sales as set out by the Sales Director each quarter
  • Identify customer needs and when appropriate provision solutions that build customer loyalty and revenue
  • Prepare proposals and contracts for clients that are based on templates set by the Sales Director
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the industry, the trends & market forces with a view to identifying new sales opportunities
  • Build commercially driven partnerships based on an understanding of your clients objectives that are solutions focussed and strategic with a long term outlook
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date database of clients & leads
  • Establish & achieve set call rates per day
  • Work alongside the event manager before the event to ensure that they have all the assets required to deliver a seamless experience to sponsors on site.
  • Any other sales related duties as required


  • Self motivated candidate with around 5 years of sales and/or customer service experience (media & marketing preferred)
  • Marketing or Communications degree preferred but not necessary
  • Ability to work in a small, busy team with demanding timelines
  • A background or understanding in digital and/or events is preferred
  • Highly driven, curious with a passion for winning and a keen interest in the media & marketing sector.
  • Positive and tenacious with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build meaningful relationships to build commercially driven partnerships for existing and new clients
