EML is well known for its commitment to the Royal Australasian College of Physicians’ Health Benefits of Good Work (HBGW) Campaign. Establishment of this exciting new role will further consolidate and recognise EML’s position as a major HBGW stakeholder

The purpose of the role is to support the Australian HBGW Signatories Steering Group (SSG) in its charter as the industry face of the HBGW Campaign. The goal of the SSG is to shape and position the HBGW policy agenda as a leading social campaign focusing on Australian industry, health and government sectors. The person undertaking this role will work closely with the SSG Chair

The role involves:

  • campaign coordination by providing administrative and planning support to the HBGW SSG
  • involvement in SSG project and workplace engagement activities
  • liaison with, and engagement of, the Australian HBGW signatory organisations
  • occasional liaison with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians
  • supporting implementation of the HBGW Communication Strategy


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in marketing or event planning is preferable
  • Experience with web-based content management and collaboration software e.g. SharePoint
  • An understanding of workplace injuries and the benefits of return to work
  • Program/project management skills (including planning, scheduling, governance and reporting)
  • Proficient Microsoft Office Suite skills e.g. MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint
