We are seeking an experienced Administration Assistant who will join in enhancing and promoting the quality of life of our residents at our new 80-bed facility, Arthur Blackburn VC Gardens, Port Macquarie, NSW.

About You

The candidate for this role will be a key member of the team who will be supported to commission our new 80-bed home co-located with our retirement village in Port Macquarie, NSW.


Selection Criteria

The essential selection criteria for the role includes:

          Experience in similar roles especially with strong clerical and administrative background

          Experience using rostering systems will be highly regarded

          Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office

          Excellent written and verbal communication skills

          Exceptional organisational and time management skills along with ability to work efficiently and independently


Key Responsibilities

The essential selection criteria for the role includes:

          Key liaison person between Residents/Managers/Staff

          General reception duties including Outlook Calendar and incoming call management  

          Provide a broad range of general administration support including but not limited to filing, mail, making appointments, diary management, drafting documents and correspondence and reimbursement of expenses

          Attend and take minutes at relevant meetings; circulate; follow up where necessary

          Manage database input and updating with a high degree of accuracy

          Maintain the filing system daily of Resident/Staff Committee Meetings for Accreditation and Audit purposes
