We specialise in tailored and refined travel to the finest Tropical Saltwater and Freshwater fly-fishing destinations, lodges and outfitters worldwide. Picture palm trees, beautiful beaches, waterfalls, horses, coral, crystal clear water, motherships, amazing lodges, snow capped mountains, open fires, sunsets, pool bars - and there is generally some fly-fishing involved also....

 

THE ROLE

At Fly Odyssey, our personalised service ensures that our individual, group, family and corporate clients will receive an exceptional holiday experience. This service however is only as good as the person organising it, and in your Travel Administration role there are several core job functions that we require to facilitate this!

This includes beautiful itineraries, booking flights, lodges, transit accommodation and the guiding, while we do all we can to ensure that our valued clients are well prepared both on and off the water.

The purpose of this part-time role (3 days/week) is to ensure the smooth running of the business, managing and coordinating client travel bookings. This will also include answering and directing calls, administrative duties and financial transactions.

 

Main Tasks                               

  • Coordinating and managing all client bookings
  • Developing a basic understanding of our travel destinations
  • Preparation of refined and detailed itineraries
  • Ability to work autonomously to a high standard
  • Invoicing and reconciliation
  • Handling and directing inbound calls
  • International bank transfers
  • Other ad hoc administration as required
  • Attending some National and International events

The above list is not exhaustive and the role may change to meet the overall objectives of the company as we grow. There is plenty of flexibility to develop within the role and help to drive growth and improvement opportunities within the business.
