We are looking for a New Full Time member to join our growing team; we are looking for someone who is eager to learn in a fast paced environment. A background in the engineering shpere would be benficial.

You will have previous experience working for a manufacturing company in a similar Production Planning / Scheduling and Procurement role plus possess strong skills in MS Office (particularly Excel) and some experience with an accounting system.

Good communication skills are a must along with a strong work ethic, attention to detail and being a team player.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES...

Production Engineering:
  • Provide collaboration and a communication link between the Engineering and Production teams.
  • Problem solving to maintain seamless manufacturing of quality equipment.
  • Process improvement through Lean and Continuous Improvement processes.
  • Development and implementation of quality control system.
  Production Planning & Scheduling:
  • Organise, implement and maintain production process flow including weekly production scheduling.
  • Take Lead with implementation of Empower Scheduling software.
  • Capacity Planning.
  • Resolve any production issues and supply by re-scheduling.
  • Intensive planning with current pipeline into resource requirements to achieve both long term and short term projections.
  • Coordinating Despatch timelines with customer requirements.
  • Arranging transport/logistics of finished products.
  Purchasing:
  • Manage an effective supply line from the Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure components arrive on time, in full, to spec avoiding any production delays.
  • Place Purchase Orders (PO’s) for product to meet the demand and delivery dates required.
  • Follow up of PO’s with suppliers and arrange transport as required.
  • Check shipment arrivals.
  • Sourcing alternative option to manage Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
  KEY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Previous experience in a similar planning/scheduling position.
  • Excellent System and MRP knowledge.
  • Excellent MS Excel ability.
  • Ability to deal with manual processes and initiate the change to develop automated systems is key.
  • Excellent communication skills and be able to think cross-functionally.
  What we offer:
  • $80,000 to $90,000 + Supercommensurate with your experience
